Refund policy

General Policies

Custom orders do NOT qualify for returns or refunds, as these items cannot be re-sold. Custom work includes anything with a custom quote, your name, school major, or any other such information. Custom orders are eligible for a replacement, however, in the event it is lost or damaged in transit.

​Non-custom items (for example, stickers) can be returned for a full refund as long as item is in its original condition with no signs of use or damage. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Item must be returned within 3 business days of receipt and buyer MUST notify Hull Design Co., LLC of the return. Buyer must provide Hull Design Co., LLC with an applicable tracking number for the returned item(s). Without following these steps, the buyer is not entitled to a refund or an accepted return by Hull Design Co., LLC.

Digital items, such as lettering brushes or fonts, are not eligible for returns or refunds due to the nature of the product.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will be happy to mediate the issue as soon as possible. Please note that damaged custom items are only eligible for a replacement, not a refund. 

Refunds
If returning a non-custom item such as a keychain or stickers, we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Please allow 3-5 business days to see the refund posted to your payment account. 

Note: Digital items, such as lettering brushes or fonts, are not eligible for returns or refunds due to the nature of the product.

Refunds will be honored for the following circumstances:

(i) Non-custom goods arrive damaged by USPS or UPS, with photographic proof, and are sent back to me. A free return label will be sent to you via e-mail provided. You must notify Hull Design Company within 3 business days of item delivery and provide photographic proof within those 3 business days as well. Item must be returned no later than 5 business days after delivery to constitute a refund.

(ii) Goods that were sent to the wrong address (wherein I addressed it incorrectly) and they will be arriving late. If you were responsible for entering your own address incorrectly, a refund will not be issued. 

Replacements

Replacement of an item purchased will only be honored in the following circumstances:

(i) Goods that were sent to the wrong address (wherein I addressed it incorrectly); at no cost.

(ii) Goods that were misspelled incorrectly (wherein I wrote it incorrectly); at no cost.

(iii) Goods arrive damaged (with photographic proof) and you send back said goods; at no cost.
